A Poetry Reading by Dr. Tom Gannon Hamilton

Tom Gannon Hamilton’s poetry has appeared in numerous lit reviews and anthologies. His poem suite El Marillo (2018) was awarded First Prize in the Big Pond Rumours Chapbook Contest; his bookPanoptic (2018 Aeolus House Press) was twice nominated for a “Pushcart Prize” and for the “Gerald Lampert Award”. Dr. Hamilton’s MA thesis “Inside the Words” and PhD dissertation “A Poetics of Possibility” reflect his interest in all things poetic. Tireless promotor of authentic voice and advocate for arts-based community development, Tom is founder/curator/host of the Toronto Urban Folk Art Salon.
