Describing Your Transferable Skills
Wednesday, Jan. 15, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
IIC-2014, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation
It’s often difficult for graduate students to identify and articulate transferable skills they have developed that might be useful in a non-academic context. This session will help graduate students by helping them identify the activities and the type of transferable skills that might have gained through various activities as a graduate student. A checklist of transferable skills that they might have already gained or need to be gained will be provided.
Mode: On-campus or online
Presenter: Dr. Leonard Lye, Professor Emeritus, Former Associate Dean (Graduate Studies), Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science
