Does the Internet Make Bullying Worse?

Dr. Mishna’s research found that 10% of students had been bullied over the Internet and through other technologies such as text, instant messaging and other social media. She will share insights into how to identify the signs of cyber bullying and the kids victimized by it. There will be an emphasis on the importance of working with kids so they learn to be empathic and stand up for others. This lecture has a wide appeal to multidisciplinary service providers and parents.
