Dressing Up Academia
Monday, Jan. 13, 1-3 p.m.
Junior Common Room, R. Gushue Hall, St. John’s Campus
How do you dress professionally to accommodate your own style, gender expression and comfort? Many graduate students only have one “good outfit,” but what if there is a two-day interview? This event includes a one-hour workshop on academic fashion followed by a free clothing give away.
All graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and undergraduates on the job market are welcome.
Note: This is a fragrance-free event. Please do not wear perfume, cologne, aftershave, hand lotion or other scented products.
Please register here: https://mun.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1zYWVYpmzQ0UJDL.
You can also donate business attire you no longer use or need to the clothing swap.
Clothing donations will be accepted until 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10.
You can drop donations to the CLEAR Lab, room SN-1107A, in the Science Building. For drop off details, please contact Kaitlyn Hawkins at email@example.com.
