Effective Feedback and Coaching

Wednesday, Oct. 9, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Faculty of Medicine

Clinical teachers have often found it difficult to effectively provide feedback to trainees. As programs emphasize competency-based medical education more and more, teachers are being expected to be coaches and not just feedback providers. This interactive one-hour webinar will explain the difference between coaching and feedback, provide some tips for “coaching in the moment”, and for building rapport with learners so that feedback is received successfully.

Presented by Dr. Steve Shorlin
