Wednesday, March 27, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Memorial University, Signal Hill Campus

You are invited to the Families in Canada 2019 Satellite Conference “Families and Mobility” taking place on March 27-28, 2019 at Memorial University, Signal Hill Campus. This conference is an exciting partnership between the Vanier Institute of the Family, Memorial researchers and Newfoundland and Labrador community organizations. Participants will participate in NL-focused Families and Mobility sessions during the mornings of March 27-28 and then join (virtually) the Vanier Institute’s National Families in Canada 2019 Conference in Ottawa during the afternoons. The larger conference is guided by the theme: THINK BIG: How can we use “Big Data” to inform and inspire big ideas to optimize family well-being in Canada? At both the Satellite Conference and the national conference diverse leaders from multiple fields and disciplines who study, serve and support families will join with those with lived experience to engage in two days of knowledge-sharing and catalytic conversation. For any inquiries, please contact our Event Coordinator, Kerri Neil, at kcn177@mun.ca
