‘Finding Our Voice’: A Conversation about Stuttering and the N.L. Stuttering Association

During this presentation, representatives of the newly-formed Newfoundland and Labrador Stuttering Association (NLSA) will discuss the NLSA’s role in advocating for and supporting the stuttering community in this province. They will also provide an overview of stuttering including causes, symptoms, treatment approaches, stuttering complications, the impact of stuttering on quality of life, and tips on how to interact with and support a people who stutter, all based on current research and lived experience.
