Introduction to Photography: Level 1
Saturday, July 13, 12-4 p.m.
306 Mount Scio Rd.
Our highly successful and entertaining photography class is back! What better place to explore nature photography than the MUN Botanical Garden! Lead by photographer Robert Miller, you’ll learn essential photographic skills, tips for taking great nature photos, then explore and take pictures in our beautiful gardens. In this fun, hands-on afternoon, you will spend some in-class time learning about the use of camera equipment, focus and depth of field, camera exposure and exposure control (program modes, exposure compensation, and manual settings), lighting and composition. Then you can put your skills to practice in the garden and nature areas with help and advice from Robert.
Note: This workshop is designed for beginner photographers, and as a refresher for those with moderate experience, using compact digital, and interchangeable lens (DSLR/mirrorless) cameras. Please bring a camera, and familiarize yourself with changing settings before class.
Fee: $50.00 plus tax.
