Killick-1 CubeSat Kick Off

Join engineering professor Dr. Weimin Huang and C-CORE’s vice-president of remote sensing Desmond Power as they officially kick off and begin the recruitment process for the Killick-1 CubeSat project. The Killick-1, a breadbox-sized satellite, will measure sea-ice thickness and extent and will be the very first Earth observation satellite built in this province thanks to a $200,000 grant from the Canadian Space Agency.
