Matters of the (Research) Body

The Nexus Centre is hosting a panel on feminist research and the body as a site for research. Panellists include Dr. Sonja Boon, from the Department of Gender Studies, and Master of Gender Studies candidates Daze Jeffries and Lesley Butler. The panelists will discuss conducting research from a feminist perspective, autoethnography as an embodied methodological praxis, and some of the intersections these methods and understandings have for scholarly awareness and corporeal literacy. An open discussion will follow. The event is free and open to everyone in the university community as well as the general public.
