Memorial University’s 100th Anniversary Event: Growing Roots, Bearing Fruit – Apple Tree Commemoration Reception

Monday, Oct. 27, 1-2 p.m.

ED-2030

The Growing Roots, Bearing Fruit – Apple Tree Planting and Commemoration Reception is one of 35 projects that received grants from the 100th Anniversary Fund to help the Memorial community celebrate our centennial. The two edible apple trees have already been planted on the grounds of the G.A. Hickman, Education Building, near the front entrance on the side closest to the QEII Library. The reception will serve to connect the Memorial community to a lasting reminder of how Education enables growth and feeds the mind.
