National Aboriginal Day

Wednesday, June 21, 12-3 p.m.

Third floor, University Centre

“On June 21, this and every year, Canada will honour the Native Peoples who first brought humanity to this great land.” -Former Governor General Romeo Leblanc. National Aboriginal Day celebrates the history, contemporary contributions, and the future of First Nations, Metis, and Inuit peoples. Come join us outside the Landing on the 3rd floor of the University Center and help us celebrate. There will be a seal skin craft session hosted by Susan Onalik and the Mawitajik drum circle will be performing many Traditional Mi’kmaq drum songs. Play the ‘Price is NOT Right’ game while you’re there to win a Mustang Sally’s MUN special. Everyone who plays wins a prize! There will be laughs, fun, and photo ops. Everyone welcome!
