Retirement Celebration of Dr. John T. (Sean) Brosnan

Dr. John T. (Sean) Brosnan, an accomplished teacher and mentor, retired from the University on December 31st after 47 years of distinguished service. The Department of Biochemistry is hosting a retirement celebration in his honor and would like to extend an invitation to the university community to join us. Dr. Brosnan’s long list of accomplishments during his tenure at MUN, include holding continuous tri-council research funding for all 47 years, being awarded the John Lewis Paton Distinguished Professor and University Research Professor Awards, Canadian Society for Nutritional Sciences Borden Award for outstanding research, election as a Fellow of the Texas Institute of Advanced Study (TIAS), and election to the Royal Society of Canada.
