SSHRC Insight Grants Workshop

Monday, May 25, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Online

Join HSS Associate Dean (Research) Sharon Roseman, and HSS Grant Facilitation Officers Heather C. O’Brien and Matthew Milner in an online workshop focused on SSHRC Insight Grants

They’ll help attendees think about how to approach the Insight Grants application and how to develop a writing plan for the coming months before the fall deadline. Other topics will include avoiding pitfalls, application components, evaluation criteria, and budget-crafting. The emphasis will be on keeping your own project front and centre in the face of sometimes detailed instructions and requirements. There will be lots of time for questions after the presentation. All are welcome, whether you plan to apply in 2020 or are thinking about applying in the future.

For information on this workshop, please contact a Grants Facilitator.

See the link for full details. Email tcoles@mun.ca for the Webex link/number and login information.

If you have questions about how to connect via Webex, they can be directed ahead of time to Sarah Penney (sarap@mun.ca, 864-8254) who can conduct a trial session prior to the workshop and assist with Webex connectivity issues during the workshop itself.

Presented by Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
