Three Cheers for Composting Family Program

Memorial University Botanical Garden, 306 Mount Scio Rd., St. John's

Celebrate International Compost Awareness Week at MUN Botanical Garden. The Three Cheers For Composting Family program will include nature hikes, compost crafts and games, story time, garden tours, face painting, and duck feeding. A special compost cake, including gummy worms, will be served. Exhibits and Information: View Botanical Garden compost displays. Free composting information will be available in our field centre. Vermicomposting: Take a close look at our indoor worm bin (vermicomposter). Compost Demonstration Garden Visit our compost demonstration garden, located between the Agnes Ayre gazebo and the Friends’ wildlife garden. Admission: Admission to the Botanical Garden will be free all week. Memorial University Botanical Garden is proud to partner with MMSB during Compost Awareness Week to help promote composting in our communities.
