Vigil to Remember Those Who Died by Suicide

Sunday, Dec. 12, 3-3:45 p.m.

St. Mark’s Church, 203 Logy Bay Road, St. John’s

This annual vigil is held to support family and friends who lost loved ones to suicide. Share in music, poetry, prayer and candle lighting. You may join in-person or livestream at https://www.facebook.com/stmarksnl/. Vax pass and masks are required for vigil entrance. To add the name of a loved one to be read aloud and/or to add a photo of a loved one to the slideshow (which will follow the vigil), please email Kim at kakelly@mun.ca or Juanita at juanita.marie.simmons@gmail.com. Please send photos by December 5, 2021 and names by December 11, 2021.Vigil music by Shelley Neville, Peter Halley & Dan Dillon. Photo slideshow to music by The Ennis Sisters, Judy Brazil & Shannon Power. All are welcome!

Thanks to Memorial University for hosting the vigil from 2006 – 2012 when vigil participation required a larger space.
