Dr. Brett Favaro, School of Fisheries, Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University, presented Does Canada Need a Marine Species at Risk Act during the 2016 Canadian Conference for Fisheries Research in St. John’s, N.L., Jan. 8-9, and is the local chair for the Fourth International Marine Conservation Congress to be held in St. John’s July 30-Aug. 3, 2016.
