The Food Producers Forum and MUN Botanical Garden are excited to be bringing Seedy Saturday to our local community on March 19, from 9:00am-4:00pm. Join fellow gardeners, homesteaders, and seed savers for a day filled with learning, networking, and seed sharing!

Seedy Saturday will include information booths from a variety of groups and individuals active in the home gardening, homesteading, and food security communities, plus workshops, opportunities to share, trade, and discover seeds, and even a Kids’ Place with activities and learning for our youngest gardeners. Workshop topics include seed starting, seed saving, composting, and container gardening. Don’t miss the special “Ask a Gardener” session!

All activities are free of charge. Please note that the Garden’s cultivated areas, trails, and Gift Shop will not be open during the event.
