In the fall of 2020, NL SUPPORT’s Patient and Public Advisory Council expressed concerns regarding the impact of pandemic restrictions in long-term care facilities. These concerns led to a research project investigating the effect of restrictions on the mental and physical well-being of long-term care residents and their visitors. In this session on November 25, the project team will share their survey findings and the experience of conducting NL SUPPORT’s first-ever ‘patient-initiated research’ project.
