Graduate Supervisor Training: Understanding Disabilities and Accommodations

Monday, Feb. 17, 12-1 p.m.

IIC-2014, Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation

Join SGS Dean Dr. Amy Warren and Dr. Carissa Brown for a discussion of disabilities and accommodations in the context of graduate student mentorship. How do we identify barriers to graduate students during their program, field work, at conferences, and beyond? We will discuss topics such as the costs of not accommodating graduate students, how to navigate the accommodations process at MUNL, resources at MUNL, and open the session for conversation and co-learning.

Bring your lunch and join us for this month’s installment of the SGS Graduate Supervisor Training series.
