A Century of Politics and the Next 100 Years

As part of Memorial University’s centennial celebrations, the Department of Political Science is hosting a public event to showcase and celebrate the contributions of past and present members of its community.

The event features two quartets of “lightning talks” on critical topics moderated by former Editor-in-Chief of The Independent, Drew Brown.

Featuring: Dr. Scott Matthews (Political Science, Memorial), Josh Smee (Food First NL), Hasan Habib (BA Student, Memorial), Braylen Jade LaSaga (Assembly of First Nations National Youth Council), Dr. Sean Gray (Political Science, Memorial), Samantha Saksagiak (BA Student, Memorial), Cathy Newhook (MA Student, Memorial), and Chelsey MacNeil (The Purposeful Group)

Everyone is welcome to attend. Proceeds from ticket sales support the Political Science Graduate Student Society.
