PowerHour 1: Stress, Mental Health and Resilience

Memorial University is participating in the Atlantic Institutions PowerHour Series, a new mental-resilience initiative presented by the Atlantic Institute for Resilience (AIR). Together with Acadia University, Dalhousie University, Holland College, and St. Francis Xavier University, we will be offering four sessions per semester over the next two semesters.

Webinar Description: We start with the stuff we all deal with stress, overwhelm, and the mental gymnastics of getting through a busy semester. In this upbeat kickoff session, we’ll explore how stress shows up in your brain and body, walk through the Resilience Spectrum to help you recognize your own warning signs, and introduce the BeFit Framework, the foundation for all the powerful mental fitness skills you’ll build in the sessions ahead.
