English Language Skills for University Success: Academic Writing

The School of Graduate Studies offers free workshops for Memorial University graduate students. These non-credit workshops are offered to registered students in graduate diploma, master’s, or doctoral programs and are designed to help improve speaking and writing skills for a variety of contexts.

This workshop explains the academic writing process, from topic selection to the final text, and strategies for inserting citations smoothly to optimize their effectiveness.
