Something Borrowed, Something New celebrates the past through a fresh lens. MUN Concert Winds performs a program of “newish” works inspired by older traditions. Renaissance dances reimagined, neo-romantic lyricism, and music that nods to the folk-coloured sounds of Grainger, Holst, and Vaughan Williams. Bold fanfares, elegant dances, and melodies that feel timeless; old ideas, newly voiced.
