Friday, April 3 (Good Friday) at 8 pm at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist (16 Church Hill, St. John’s) the a cappella group, Octatonic Decadence Ensemble (led by David Buley, Faculty of Education) will offer Candlelight and Shadows – an immersive musical meditation on how loneliness and loss may be tempered by light and love. Included will be choral music by Thomas Tallis, William Byrd, Corinne Philippon, Urmas Sisask, John Tavener and Gregorio Allegri. Bathe yourself in soaring melodies, rich harmonies, and spacious beauty. All are welcome. Exquisite music ~ Absolutely free.
