Stop Cuts to Refugee Healthcare
Join us on April 14th (12–1 PM) at the MUN Medical School Atrium for a letter-writing and awareness event as part of a National Day of Action.
Starting May 1st, new federal co-payments to the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) will make essential healthcare less accessible for newly arrived refugees in Canada. These added costs risk forcing patients to delay or avoid care, leading to worse health outcomes and increased strain on our healthcare system.
We’re coming together to say: care should never depend on ability to pay.
Come write letters to MPs and help protect access to care.
