SESSION 1: SETTING GEN AI EXPECTATIONS

This session supports participants in developing clear, transparent approaches to communicating expectations around generative AI use in their courses.

We will explore practical strategies for articulating context-specific AI expectations that align with both course goals and disciplinary practices.

Participants will also be introduced to approaches for engaging students in co-creating AI guidelines at the course or assignment level and strategies for facilitating ongoing conversations with students about AI use.
