SESSION 3: ASSESSMENT AS PART OF LEARNING

This session explores assessment as a key contributor to the learning process.

It will delve into the purpose and types of assessments, including authentic assessment approaches that can be incorporated during the semester.

By the end of this session, participants will have:

  • Examined a range of assessments which may provide some buffer from misuse of GenAI.
  • Considered modifications to existing assessments to better align with the course learning outcomes.

Participants are invited to bring course syllabi, descriptions of assessments and samples of assessments previously used.
