Strong writing remains one of the most important professional skills—even as AI tools become more widely used in business settings.
This course builds on core business writing principles while introducing practical strategies for integrating generative AI tools into everyday communication. Participants will revisit essential writing fundamentals—clarity, tone, structure, grammar, and audience awareness—and learn how to use AI responsibly to support drafting, refining, and strengthening written communications.
Through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, participants will explore how tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and Google Gemini can assist with brainstorming, summarizing, editing, and organizing content. Emphasis is placed on thoughtful prompt writing, critical review of AI-generated material, ethical considerations, and maintaining professional voice and accuracy.
Participants will engage in practical writing activities, revise AI-assisted drafts, and receive feedback to strengthen both their writing technique and their confidence using AI as a support tool. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to write clearly, strategically, and responsibly—with or without AI.
