Dr. Greg Browne

Dr. Greg Browne, clinical assistant professor of surgery at Memorial University and clinical chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery at Eastern Health, has been named president of the Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery. The society is dedicated to excellence in the promotion of vascular health for Canadians through education, research, collaboration and advocacy. It provides a forum for continuing medical education for vascular surgeons and others interested in the investigation and treatment of patients with vascular disease. Dr. Browne has served in a number leadership roles during his career, including three terms on the board of governors of the American College of Surgeons (ACS). He currently sits on the Vascular Advisory Board of the ACS and on the Specialty Committee for Vascular Surgery for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
