Noah MacAulay, Michael Sullivan and Faith Geok Horng Lee

Noah MacAulay and Michael Sullivan, Department of Mathematics and Statistics, won first prize in the Mathematics Problem Solving competition during the recent Science Atlantic Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science Conference. The last time Memorial won first place was in 2008. Faith Geok Horng Lee also won third prize in the statistical oral presentations. The conference took place Oct. 23-24 at Acadia University, in Wolfville, N.S.
