Donna Ball, policy administrator, Memorial University, was recently elected to the board of directors of the Association of College and University Policy Administrators (ACUPA), the first time a Canadian university has been represented on the board. ACUPA is based in the United States and has membership from around the world. Its mission is to advance the discipline of policy management, with a focus on higher education. Ms. Ball has been involved with the association since she began in the policy role at Memorial in 2007. She was the first Canadian to present at an ACUPA conference in 2013 in Chicago, Ill., and subsequently served on the Events Planning Committee for the 2014 and 2016 conferences, as the speaker liaison.
