Sheila Devine

Sheila Devine, a retired staff member of the Office of the General Counsel at Memorial, was honoured with the Employment Equity Award by Queen’s University recently. The award celebrates the university’s 175th anniversary and is a tri-color honour awarded to Queen’s alumni who have made outstanding contributions to the university and outside the university. A former associate vice-principal (faculty relations), Ms. Devine was honoured for her equity work at Queen’s and for her national education and training work for the Centre of Higher Education Research and Development, as well as for her international education work in the area of equity.
