Dr. Kimberly Maich

Dr. Kimberly Maich, associate professor of special education, Faculty of Education, presented a paper titled Stay, Play, and Talk: A Peer Mediated Social Skills Program for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Social-communication Difficulties and Their Peers, and a poster titled Promoting Inclusion, Communication, and Social Skills, at Applied Behaviour Analysis International in Paris, France. These outcomes represent a joint research project with Carmen Hall (Fanshawe College), Tricia van Rhijn (University of Guelph), graduate student Sheri Mallabar (Brock University), and an Ontario school board. The project was supported by a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council travel grant.
