Dr. Kimberly Maich, associate professor of special education, Faculty of Education, published a research paper titled “Teachers’ perceptions of the need for assistive technology training in Newfoundland and Labrador’s rural schools.” The paper appears in the Canadian Journal of Learning and Technology (Vol. 43, Issue 2) and is open access online. This was a joint project with Dr. Tricia van Rhijn (University of Guelph), Heather Woods (PhD student, University of Ottawa), and Kim Brochu (master’s student, McMaster University).
