Adopt a Garden

Thursday, Aug. 1, 12-2 p.m.

Sundial Garden, between Arts, Science and Math buildings

Are you passionate about gardening or a beginner gardener wanting to learn? Would you like to meet fellow gardeners and get some fresh air and exercise during your lunch break?

On Thursdays until August 1, the Adopt a Garden program will hold volunteer gardening sessions from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at various locations.

On August 1, meet at the Sundial Garden, in the quad between the Arts, Math and Science buildings. Stay for the whole time or drop by for a few minutes.

Gardening tools and gloves will be provided or bring your own if you prefer. Please come ready for gardening with closed toe shoes, clothes that can protect you from thorns, and sun protection.

Contact beautification@mun.ca for more information, to register in advance, and to be put on the reminder list. Drop-ins are also welcome.

If you have adopted a garden on campus in the past and would like to continue to work on it,  please let us know.
