Adopt a Garden

Thursday, July 25, 12-2 p.m.

Are you passionate about gardening or a beginner gardener wanting to learn? Would you like to meet fellow gardeners and get some fresh air and exercise during your lunch break? 

On Thursdays until  August 1, the Adopt a Garden program will hold volunteer gardening sessions from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at various locations. 

On July 25, meet at the main entrance of the Education building, facing Prince Phillip Drive.

Gardening tools and gloves will be provided or bring your own if you prefer. Please come ready for gardening with closed toe shoes, clothes that can protect you from thorns, and sun protection. 

 

Contact beautification@mun.ca for more information, to register in advance, and to be put on the reminder list. Drop-ins are also welcome.

If you have adopted a garden on campus in the past and would like to continue to work on it,  please let us know.
