Come join us for a talk by Dr. Renae Watchmann, Associate Professor of Indigenous Studies at McMaster University. Dr. Watchmann will talk about Marie Clements 2022 film Bones of Crows, “a multi-generational epic and story of resilience told through the eyes of Cree Matriarch Aline Spears” and explore going beyond the concept of Vergangenheitsbewältigung (‘coming to terms with’ the past).
