AI vs. Human Writing: What’s the Difference?

Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1-2 p.m.

Online

Generative AI tools have allowed us to produce text in a matter of minutes. Yet, even with sophisticated AI-generated text, we are seeing more and more questions about authenticity, credibility and originality. AI writing contains certain characteristics linked to the way the text is produced, that set it apart from human writing. As these tools continue to evolve, we need to critically engage with what they can and can’t do.

Join Dr. Badenhorst in this workshop where we will examine some emerging research and assess how human writing compares to AI-generated writing.

Date and Time: Wednesday, November 12, 2025, 1:00-2:00 pm NST
