This exciting event will feature a broad range of topics, including statistical physics, complex systems, particle physics, quantum information, lithium-ion batteries, and astrophysics.

5:45 PM: CAP Lecture by Pablo Bianucci (Concordia University) – “Prisoner Photons: Trapping light for fun (and profit?)”

9:00 AM: Bethany Downer (European Space Agency / Hubble Space Telescope / James Webb Space Telescope) – “Insights and communications from the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes”

11:30 AM: Brynle Barrett (University of New Brunswick) – “Measuring gravity really, really, well using cold atoms”
Additionally, a Graduate Fair will be held on Saturday, February 1, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Representatives from 11 physics departments from the universities across Atlantic Canada, Quebec, and Ontario will be present.
