Bangladeshi Cultural Community (BCC) club invites everyone (19+ age, open to all) to the Bengali New Year event held at MUN Breezeway (located on the First Floor of the University Centre) on April 14 from 8.30 pm – 10.30 pm. Pohela Boishakh, also known as Bengali New Year, is one of the most significant cultural festivals of Bengali people, celebrated every year. It marks the beginning of the Bengali calendar and is observed with great enthusiasm and joy across Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal and Assam.

– Feel free to wear your traditional attire, if you want. We can’t wait to see you in pretty dresses.
– We will require a physical copy of your government photo ID at Breezeway for the entry.
