Beyond the Binary: Centering Gender Diversity in Universal Design for Learning
Friday, Oct. 24, 2-3:30 p.m.
J-2008; online
This session is part of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Community of Practice series and will be facilitated by Logan St. Croix (he/they) from Trans Support NL. Join us for a thoughtful conversation about creating learning spaces where trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse folks feel genuinely seen, valued, and included. Together, we’ll explore how our identities shape the ways we engage with and make meaning from learning. This session invites reflection on the importance of centering gender diversity within Universal Design for Learning and how embracing the whole person can transform how we approach education and build community. It’s a welcoming space to connect, learn, and grow alongside others.
