Book Launch and Panel Discussion: Families, Mobility, and Work

Tuesday, Dec. 13, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

A-1046

Employment-related geographical mobility is widespread and increasing within Canada and around the world. Families, Mobility, and Work assembles findings from substantial research in an expansive collection which explores intersections between family lives and diverse types of mobility across multiple populations of workers, regions, and sectors.

Join editors Barbara Neis, Christina Murray, Nora Spinks, and the contributors of Families, Mobility, and Work as they launch this engaging new collection. Editors will lead a panel discussion exploring the challenges, opportunities, and effects of diverse forms of work-related mobility through a family-centred lens.

Q&A, reception, and refreshments to follow. Event will be live-streamed on the Memorial University Press youtube channel (www.youtube.com/@memorialuniversitypress) for those who can not attend in person.
