Campus to Career for Students and New Graduates: Leveraging Your Strengths

Tuesday, May 7, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

UC-4002

How are you uniquely powerful? Discover and develop your greatest talents with our CliftonStrengths Workshop!

“All too often, our natural talents go untapped. From the cradle to the cubicle, we devote more time to fixing our shortcomings than to developing our strengths.”

-StrengthsFinder 2.0

People who focus on their strengths are more productive, happier and six times as likely to be engaged in their jobs. During this workshop, you will discover your unique top 5 strengths using Gallup’s CliftonStrengths Assessment, a web-based tool to measure natural patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving from the perspective of positive psychology. Using your report, explore how to focus and develop your talents personally and professionally, whether for your job search, future career plans, or relationships!

In this workshop, you will:

· Identify, explore, and articulate your top 5 strengths and how they resonate with you

· Understand how to describe your strengths in various career-related contexts (on your resume/LinkedIn profile, in interviews, and more)

· Develop ideas to move forward with potential career path(s)

Strengths Finder (Top 5 Strengths) Value:
Approximately $35 (CAD)
