Join us on Thursday, March 13, 1pm for a Career Chat with Dr. Kim Perlak, Chair of Guitar at the Berklee College of Music! FREE and open to the public!

Dr. Kim Perlak will discuss how musicians across diverse musical backgrounds can acquire the professional skills needed to establish creative careers in the current musical landscape. Drawing upon her experience managing the biggest guitar department in the world, Dr. Perlak will chat about her approach to guitar, new music, education, and public service, and about her experiences performing classical works, original pieces, and collaborations with jazz and traditional players.

This Career Chat will be a moderated conversation followed by an open Q&A session and will take place in MU1032 (Choral Room) at the School of Music.
