Ceremony of Remembrance: St. John’s Campus
Tuesday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
D.F. Cook Recital Hall, School of Music
As Newfoundland and Labrador’s only university, Memorial University bears a unique responsibility to the people of this province. Our institution was established as a tribute to the Newfoundlanders and Labradorians who made the ultimate sacrifice during the First World War and subsequent conflicts. We hold profound respect for their memory and draw inspiration from their selflessness as we work towards building a brighter future for our province, our nation, and the global community.
In keeping with tradition, we invite you to join us for the Remembrance Day ceremony on Tuesday, November 7th, 2023. The ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. in the D.F. Cook Recital Hall at the St. John’s Campus.
For those who are unable to attend in person, we are pleased to offer a live webcast of the event. The webcast will begin at 11 a.m. and can be accessed at www.mun.ca. We encourage you to take a moment to remember and honour the sacrifices of the past.
