Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2-3 p.m.

Online

Presenter: Dr. Jeanne Sinclair, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Education

Rubrics can help communicate your expectations for student work and facilitate fair marking. Creating clear criteria for success supports students’ learning in the discipline and allows them to critically prepare and reflect on their work.

In this session, Dr. Sinclair explains how to develop a valid rubric and provides an opportunity for hands-on construction of a rubric for one of your assignments.
