The more things change, the more they stay the same. Even though we’ve had some enormous changes in the last three years, we are still facing many of the same challenges, including keeping our students motivated and engaged in the learning process.

Presenter: Dr. Kelly Shorlin, visiting professor, Physics and Physical Oceanography, Faculty of Science

In this session Dr. Shorlin, who has taught in classes of up to 300 students, will share some of her philosophies about teaching large classes, as well as some of the strategies she uses to keep students focused and engaged.
