The Provincial Government is developing a new Climate Change Mitigation Action Plan (2025 – 2030) to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and a new Climate Change Adaptation Action Plan (2025 – 2030) to prepare for and reduce the impacts of climate change.

The Department of Environment and Climate Change will be hosting three webinars the week of May 6 to gather input from Memorial University faculty, staff, and students on the development of these new plans. Each webinar will be one hour long and have a capacity of 20 individuals to allow for maximum participation/engagement. An overview deck will be shared upon registration.
