Collaborators, Not Just Mentees: Setting a Culture of Mutual Respect
Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1-2 p.m.
Online
As faculty and supervisors, much of our research is led by graduate students; work that leads to our own professional success. Setting the tone for a collaborative relationship, rather than a power relationship facilitates a student-supervisor relationship based on effective communication, shared goals and expectations, and respect. Setting a culture of collaboration also means mutual investment in getting the research done. Bring your lunch and join us for our second seminar of the SGS Graduate Supervisor Training series.
